Home      Community Hall
For some time the Kirk Session had plans to build a new hall.  However, these plans proved to be too expensive with the limited funds available.  It was therefore decided to look at other options.  The solution was to alter the interior of the Kinloss Church to provide a flexible space for meetings and functions. Various grants were obtained and the whole of the church interior was modernised with flexible seating, underfloor heating, improved lighting and new kitchen and toilet facilities on the understanding that it became a community facility.  The end result is a hall with a smaller hall to the rear which can be incorporated into the whole.  The altar and organ area can be screened off to provide a more secular space.  The hall is run by a management committee and bookings can be made by contacting the bookings member Mrs Florence Higham - 01309 690162 -

The work  to convert the old steading at the back of the church into additional meeting and workshop space is now complete and the Kinloss sewing bee were first to avail themselves of the new space.

More pictures of the facilities are shown in the Hall Photo Album

The current list of activities and contacts is shown on the Timetable page

The meeting for prospective volunteers on the 15 May was a great success and a large number of new people showed an interest in helping out with the running of the hall.  If you missed the meeting and are interested in volunteering, don't worry, just come along to one of the coffee mornings and have a chat with those there and we are sure we will be able to accommodate your talents.
